Professional Profile: Pat Callair

Pat Callair is an accomplished group facilitator, workshop leader, public speaker and psychotherapist. She lectures, presents workshops and facilitates the community building process for groups and organizations.

Pat is a facilitator and leader for the Foundation For Community Encouragement, an international organization founded by M. Scott Peck, author of The Road Less Traveled and A Different Drum. She is nationally and internationally known as a facilitator of the community building process, having conducted community building retreats throughout The United States and The United Kingdom.

She has worked with non-profit organizations, neighborhood leaders, elected officials, industry management and school administrators to help bridge the gaps caused by ethnic, racial, gender, and lifestyle dissonance.

Pat is a board certified marriage and family therapist and organizational consultant. Her private Practice Wyzwoman Counseling and Consulting is located in Chapel Hill N.C. Pat is a member of the faculty at Guilford College where she teaches Ethics, community Building, Conflict Resolution, Understanding Oppressive Systems and Transforming Family Violence.

In addition to her private practice and teaching, Pat is Founder and Exec. Director of the Leadership and Empowerment Institute. And she serves as a commissioner for the Orange County Human Relations Commission.
